 80% of men are diagnosed with prostate cancer by the time they are 80 years old. Most prostate cancer is undetected until in a late stage. Increase your knowledge about prostate cancer symptoms, early screening, treatment and prognosis to guide patients and families.  

This is a Gannett Education CE event. Participants who attend the webinar and complete the post-test and evaluation survey will earn:

Dr. Randy Jones, PhD, RN is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia School of Nursing and a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Nurse Faculty Scholar. Dr. Jones received his Bachelors of Science in Biology at Hampden-Sydney College and then went to the University of Virginia to earn a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, a Masters of Science in Nursing, a Post-Masters as a Nurse Practitioner, and then a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing. His research focuses on health disparities and prostate cancer. He has received numerous funded research grants from organizations such as the National Institutes of Health/ National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Nursing Research, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the American Nurses Foundation. He has been published in numerous top-tier journals related to chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and prostate cancer. He is dedicated to the area of prostate cancer and treatment decisions that patients have to make.
